When a chick is about to hatch out,it has a tough job ahead of it-breaking the egg-shell.Luckily,nature has provided the chick with a special tooth,,which is a kind of smell,hard bump on the end of its beak.The chick uses it to make to crack round the inside of shell.Then to get out the egg,the baby bird have to push as hard as it can against the round piece of cut-away shell,A few days after the chick hatches out,the egg tooth disappears.........
