Glycerin is a Colourless ,Odourless,sticky and sweet liquid with many commercial uses .its pure pure chemical form is called glycerol ,and is found in all natural fats and oils .it is widely used in many chemical products ,including medicine ,cosmetics,foods and explosives .
a Swedish chemist made the glycerin from olive oil in 1783 .today, mosyly glycerin is obtained as by product of soap-making .only the highest grades are used to give smoothness to such foods as ice cream and candy.
